  • The 2nd Blair Witch had that hot wiccan chick, that hot goth chick and that dude from Burn Notice. It wasn't all bad.

I have to say, I saw this movie when I was 6 or 7. It probably had a different affect on me. Plus now it's more just nostalgic than anything else.
If I were Shé, do you think I'd be operating a taco truck? Shé brings hope. Shé rights the wrongs. Unfortunately, Shé is a myth.

I would say that the first Blair Witch was pretty good, with two exceptions. That whole "Shakey The Cameraman" bit really wreaked havoc on my stomach. I get why they did it, I just think it could have been toned waaay down. I spent the last 15 minutes of the movie in the ladies' room with my head hanging over the toilet. I finally saw that last shot on TV, where the much smaller screen wasn't so nausea inducing.

My only other beef with Blair Witch was how dumb the public was with all the "Did It Really Happen?" marketing. One quick hit onto IMDB showed that the actors clearly had other jobs after the movie was over - hell, the guy who played Michael was in a very prominent role in an episode of "Law & Order SVU" less than a year after "TBWP" was in theaters. All you have to do is watch the movie, because I guarantee you, three people who are fighting, screaming at each other, and running for their lives in a haunted house are NOT going to have the presence of mind to film the whole thing every single second. Again, I get why they did it for the purpose of the movie, so you'd know what was happening between the characters. But the dumbshits who thought that was real just killed me. So really, I liked the movie a lot - it was the reaction from a really truly stupid public that sort of lessened my enjoyment of it.

It's because IMDB wasn't as popular back in 1999. Hell, I was still on dial-up back then. And the viral marketing was done constantly via TV.

Is that shit even out? I remember being psyched to see that and then heard nothing.

Same here. And according to this, no. And that was back in 2008.

Yeah, but IMDB was popular enough that all I had to do was look up the movie to see that the actors had obvious gigs after that. That's all that anyone who was curious about whether or not it was real had to do. Also, doing an episode of L&O is not exactly low-profile.
