Word on this seems to be good. The final beta test weekend is going on and I'm going to give it a go to see if it's got any sort of lasting appeal for me.

Anyone else interested in this one?

It seems interesting but it's dead in the water. The Star Wars license is struggling mightily with an mmo by one of the top rpg developers in the world. Is the even f2p? If not they re so screwed.

Tried to log into the site to see about download the open beta I read about. You can't even get beyond the age gate because the site breaks. Yeah, wouldn't bet on this being a stable game.

It's essentially RESIDENT EVIL: the MMO. Kinda cool, but I don't like the UI. I'll keep pounding away at it to see how it goes.

I DO like the fact that it does require you to solve puzzles. It isn't just a GO HERE, KILL THAT game (although there is a lot of that).

Tried to get onto the site on my desktop and iPad, all I get is an error and a big ass string of code to pop up. I am lacking your wizardry Matt.

I had to update my NVidia drivers, that's it. Plays fine otherwise. Sorry you're having issues, Billy.

I don't think he should have to update drivers to get a website to work. :-)

I'm growing to really like this game. The problems are fun to figure out and the skill/ability system is really fun. You can quite literally set yourself uo with any skillset that you want.

It launched yesteeday for those that preordered it. It launches for everyone else on the 3rd.

Having a blast. Some od thes investigation quests are actually pretty damned hard, and i like trying to figure rhem out before walk throughs get posted.

Plenty to enjoy here. The writing is good, the quests are diverse, and you have to use your brain. The graphics are solid and the atmosphere is really cool...it feels like you're on the set of a John Carpenter film....hell, there's even an axhievement/title called ALL OUT OF BUBBLEGUM.

Good stuff. Very surprised on this.

Of interest: it sounds like they tried to sneak in voice talent that would be geekily appropriate to the situation at hand. I'm currently in a Lovecraftian university taking missions from a professor with the voice of Jeffrey Combs. Gotta love it.
