Ok, so they moved mom down from the NICU as she is a bit better but I've come to the realization that she's probably going to need round the clock care the rest of her life. Her speech recognition and ability to speak may get better according to the surgeon but he's not sure she'll ever get back left side movement as she's not showing any signs of it at all. And on top of all of that my dad is most likely going back to Iraq in 9 days because if he doesn't he'll get fired and lose insurance on mom. Not a good idea with hospital bills already coming in. I'm pretty sure that means the wife and I will have to pick up all the pieces.

I know that last part sounds selfish but I feel like a fucking punching bag sometimes from family and the shit they put on us. I don't even have the energy for a fuuuu at this point.
