                        • The Maxx FX figure used a body style very similar to Mego's Type 2 body, but at 9" scale (same size as Mego's Flash Gordon and Palitoy's Doctor Who lines back in the 70s). Mego, as a company, was about 5 years dead and buried when Maxx FX came along, so ya can't blame Matchbox much for swooping in and reusing Mego's abandoned molds and stuff for the line.

                          Sucks we never got that Alien figure.
