  • My first video game thing from Facebook

I'm trying to spot emerging trends. So, help me out for those not on the FB.

What was your first Atari game?
What was your first Nintendo (8-bit) game?
What was your first Sega (Genesis) game?
What was your first Super Nintendo game?
What was your first Arcade game?
My readers come to me for my thoughts and opinions. I've built myself into a brand

    1. I had an Intellivision. Beauty and the Beast was my jam.
    2. I had a Sega Master System. First game was Ghostbusters, which I never beat because Gozer was a BITCH.
    3. Didn't have a Genesis
    4. Not counting a Super Mario World my first SNES game was either Link to the Past or F-Zero, I don't remember which.
    5. THe first arcade game I remember playing is Pole Position.

What's killing me is that between the site mailing list, FB and other means. I've received 76 replies so far.

The parallels between the 76 replies leaves me with a grand total of 19 games to examine.

I didn't even know about the hidden snake game until right now. Wtf. But in reading about it, I didn't have the right model. I had the one with Hang On and Safari Hunt built in.

Safari Hunt was my first Master System game. Hang On was second. Hang On fucking OWNED.

And I said Pitfall for Atari, but it might have been this space game that was something similar to Star Gate. There were "gates' you could hit that warped you around. I don't remember the name, so I default to Pitfall.

                Atari: Pitfall 2.
                NES: Duck Hunt.
Master System: Casino Games. The one where when you run outta cash, you get a downer fucking ending of being a broke degenrate kicking a can down the street. Hang On was so dope.
                SNES: Actraiser.
                Genesis: Kid Chameleon.
Arcade: The bartop version of Pac-Man at Da Pizza Joint in South Padre. Shit, it mighta been Ms. Pac Man.

I would give so much for a cocktail Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man table.

Well, I did play some genesis games to be honest but never OWNED one. So I guess I could add those if I could recall what I played first.
