    Why wouldn't it engender rage?

Back when I was a kid and that show was on, it meant less slots for worthy cartoons to be aired. And it was always an hour block. OF FUCKING GHOSTWRITER.

And why give a shit about the changes? Because it is a part of nerddom's morbid fascination with the violent destruction of something held sacred, akin to the rubbernecking phenomenon that occurs when one sees a horrible car wreck.

Two words should sum this entire thing with Lucas & Co

      "Fuck it"

And fuck the people who piss and moan but still continue to buy in.

Also Ghostwriter was on PBS, what other worthwhile cartoons were on PBS?

Won't be me - perfectly happy with my OT VHS box set. Besides, the cable channels run all six movies back-to-back every so often, so I'm good whenever I need a Star Wars fix.

I'm more pissed that Lucas, as a filmmaker, has really done bupkiss besides Star Wars and Indiana Jones (and that with Spielberg). American Grafitti, OK. Willow? Sure. But that's about it.

Leave it alone Ed. Provide color commentary on other things. It is a tried and true punching bag that will endure your words of wisdom and common sense. Lucas' fuckery is the Glass Joe of nerd properties: impossible not to enjoy tearing apart on some sadistic level.

GW was also a part of the block on the bigger networks, usually toward the end of Saturday morning cartoon blocks that were worth a damn.

Could you believe Lucas was originally assigned Apocalypse Now?

            Mind blowing, isn't it?

Check out Easy Riders, Raging Bulls for some good insight into Lucas.

                Can't forget THX-1138, me brotha.

But I know what you're saying, and it is just one more layer of the Failcake to digest when discussing Big George.

I won't be satisfied until Howard the Duck has been CGI'd into the cantina scene.

We always suspected that the Emperor was a pedarast...

-Obi-Wan's scream to scare away the Sand People has changed.

-CG touch-ups to Vader armor to bring in more in-line with Episode III armor.

-added CG to Death Star approach

-branching with original, 97, 04 and final editions.

-cleaned up CG in Mos Eisley.

That's all I know so far.

They changed the scream? Why? It's not like we saw any of those dragons in the prequels. The Mos Eisley CG touchups are fine though. That shit was weak.
