For such a tiny dude, he's got one hell of a presence, even in small roles.

That's a minor quibble, though. There's so much about that film that isn't just GOOD but OUTSTANDING. It's career best work from pretty much everyone involved (Rea, Sutherland, DeMunn, Joss Ackland, Max Von Sydow) and the plot is simply riveting: the true story of how the Russian police spent years tracking down Andrei Chikatilo, a serial killer.

And I'll echo the sentiment that the small budget worked against it in some cases, but Citizen X ultimately remains one of HBO's best.
