    THE LONG WALK is kinda my dream film. I love that book. At the same rime, I question how a film of that would play out...it would be a very punishing experience.

      Yeah, Hollywood would definitely mess with the story to make it a bit more palatable to the average moviegoer. More's the pity.

        Re: Battle Royale, been awhile since I watched that flick (have a bootleg on VHS), and have yet to see the sequel. Damn good flick regardless, and the violence is just short of over the top. Good also to see a pre-Kill Bill Chiaki Kuriyama (aka Gogo Yubari in KB), too.
