GALAXY QUEST
It's playing on Starz right now. I flipped to it the other day at dinner when it'd only been on for about 10 minutes. The wife had never seen it and wasn't sure about watching it...I told her to hold on for a few minutes, knowing that the Sam Rockwell primal scream was coming. It happened, followed by Tony Shalhoub doing his 'that was a hell of a thing', and my wife was fully on board.

PET- This is the movie Slater did last year before moving to The Exorcist. It was not what I was expecting in a good way. The story takes a couple crazy turns and has a really good ending. Recommended!Comment

Independence Day 2: Independence Day Harder - Entertaining, but doesn't hold a whacked-out-Brent-Spiner-in-an-alien-grip to the original. Notable lack of Will Smif and Randy Quaid, and Jeff Goldblum saves the day again kind of hampers things a bit. Still, the promise of Erflings and good guy aliens going after bad guy aliens on their own terf with all sorts of alien technology makes me want a sequel posthaste.Comment
