  • I also use more than 1 egg in my version which helps with the binding process.

      • I usually do as well, but with the cheese and the moisture from the mushrooms, I cut it back to one so it does not get all runny.

        • Ok. I might just have to unveil some of my recipes in full. I can't let Vin get all the cooking glory. His style seems pretty fucking close to mine though. I think in a Bobby Flay cook-off style scenario we would probably tie.

If that's the case, Howard... then everyone here wins!

I normally do, but don't go by me - I'm a horribly unadventerous cook. Then again, my mom's good old-fashioned meatloaf recipe (which really is amazing) only calls for ground beef. It's the seasonings and stuff she adds to it that make it great.

              • Feta and Sundried tomatoes meatloaf

                1-1/2 pound of ground beef
                1/2 cup breadcrumb
                4 slices of bacon
                1/4 cup chopped sundried tomatoes
                1/2 cup feta, crumbled
                1 egg
                1/2 cup milk
1Tb each of oregana, cayenne, paprika
                2 garlic clove, chopped.
1 small can of tomato or pizza sauce

Mix the egg with the milk.
Add the meat and the crumbs. Mix by hands. Add the spices. Re-mix! Add teh feta and tomatoes. Re-Mix!

Do the usual loaf. Put bacon on top
Pour the can over the future deliciousness.

Cook at 350 for 45 minutes (that really depends on your oven).

Sing some Meat Loaf songs, or fight a random bastard in the street.

                Eat.

                  Aragula

Cook the pasta. As it cooks, cook the meat, and crush it in small pieces as you do. When cooked, add the tomatoes and the paste. When the pasta are cook, add to the sauce. • Will do Matt! (not huge on non-smoked salmon)

And yeah, the pasta recipe takes as long as it takes to cook pasta, + 2-3 minutes, so make it 20 minutes. The deliciousness/time ratio is off the chart for that one.
