Venom

So it looks like Sony wants a Venom film to start up soon. If they get Eric Foreman back, then ok, I might be on board. But seriously, I don't want to see Venom as a "Lethal Protector". I want to see him haunt Spider-Man and fuck with Spidey's life. This just sounds like a pound of weak sausage to me. I wish Marvel Studios would have come into place a decade ago.

Yeah, fuck this movie. Unless they just go balls out and do the Maximum Carnage storyline. Because, honestly, why the fuck not?

I still wish Topher was Spiderman though. Fuck Tobey.

Topher would have been an awesome Spider. But I don't really have anything negative to say about Tobey. Besides the lack of witty one liners, he did a damn good job. Now as for another actress playing Mary Jane, I'd have no problem with Megan Fox slapping on a red wig.

Tobey didn't bring shit to the table though at least not compared to the minimal screentime of Topher. As soon as he was on screen I wanted him to be Spidey.

I'm still surprised Topher isn't a bigger star. I like him a lot.

Topher is fantastic, no doubt about it. Spider-Man is a whinny series, and I think Tobey was great. Would Topher had been better? Yeah, I do think so. But Spider 1 and 2 are pretty great, and 3 has it's moments. I'm not gonna complain too much.

Maximum Carnage = Call of the Day...how fucking great would that be. The CG would have to be top notch for it to work though.

Venom vs Carnage would be ok, as long as we had Topher play Venom and Buscemi play Carnage.

There's no way they'll make this movie and A) keep Topher as the headliner and B) keep Venom as a bad guy. So, basically, we'll get Lethal Protector with a more famous guy as Venom. Or maybe if the new Punisher movie is a hit (HA!) they'll adapt Funeral Pyre for the big screen. Man, what a piece of shit that story was.
