There's probably a thread for this but it didn't come up in a search. I figured I'd start a thread because the first season was good enough that I'm going to watch the rest of the seasons. SPOILERZ Y'ALL.

Did not expect the reason for Peggy's terrible fat makeup. Did expect that reaction from her, though. She's a cutthroat broad. And I take back what I said about Pete. After the showdown in Cooper's office where he laid it on the line with Don, and the resulting backlash, I gotta see if there are long-lasting repercussions. It was pretty crazy how he used tragedy to his advantage to get the American account at the start of season two.

Also, I'm pleasantly surprised that Joan is actually a character rather than just a ridiculous body to look at occasionally.

Peggy and Pete end up being some of the best characters. Keep going, it gets so much better.

Oh yeah, even though Kennedy vs. Nixon is one of their best episodes in my view.

Peggy is totally going to make quality time with Son of Gump. I also hope we get an explanation as to why Cutthroat Bitch's husband was wearing a fat suit for that one dinner at the Drapers.

Oh, and LA Noire is lousy with Mad Men cast members. Wow.

Holy Shit, that scene with Peggy and Pete in the second season finale. And all the stuff with Don in California was great. I hope he's able to patch things up with Betty but she seems to have changed a LOT. I expect rough things at the start of the next season, especially with regard to the merger. Drunk Duck is not so good and making friends and influencing people.

If her voice is any indication then Sally is going to have a hell of a time post puberty.

Dug this season's premiere. It felt like the show is doing a lot more with the characters, and this episode wasn't as much thinking and processing what all these people are internalizing.

I almost feel bad for The Killing being paired with this show. It's only going to highlight how terrible that show is.

Thought the premiere was really great. I'm glad Don isn't keeping the Dick Whitman thing from Megan. I was a little worried that marriage was going to be Betty #2. It looks like they'll be tackling an entirely different set of problems.

Speaking of Betty, I wonder if she'll be on the way to divorce #2 when we catch up with her. There was plenty of trouble in paradise with her and that old dude at the end of last season.

I think Megan/Don are going to reflect the beginning of Roger/New Wife (can't remember her name, Jane?).

Yeah, Jane sounds right. Big trouble in paradise there. Do you think the unhappiness is because Roger realized he substituted her for Joan or just because he's Roger. I'm also thinking Roger knows the baby is his but he's just not acknowledging it.

You don't get to look at THIS.

Roger is unhappy because he is Roger. And he ABSOLUTELY knows he's the dad and that's why he said "is that my baby!" and Joan's heart sank.

I just want an episode of Lane being nice to women. Motherfucker is so classy.

Lane is great. I can't decide if he was being racist with the cabbie or if he was having money trouble and thinking of keeping the money himself. That is, until he saw the picture of Delores and wanted to hit that.

Some of it might be racially charged, but I believe that Lane was going to pocket the cash. I think that the premiere glossed over a lot of what was going on in Season 4. SCDP is barely hanging in there and since the show loves following really history (Leo Burnett had the same problem with a fake EEOC ad), we're about to see shit hit the fan in 1967.

That being said, Lane called Joan "Mrs. Harris" is one my favorite things about television now.
