Pros:Having backedup games and getting games before they are released, never paying for anything but live service, bigger hardrives.
Cons: getting caught, being banned from playing online, always wondering if the next update will essentially brick your console.

Although I have friends that do this and they have everygame known to man. So it's kinda up to you.
