AR-15 = Civilian Rifle = Semi-Auto
M-16 = Military Rifle = Semi/Burst/Auto
An M4 is a M-16 (M-16a4) with a collapsible stock and a barrel shorter then 20 inches.
I can't wait to compete in this hunt. It will probably cost close to a hundred bucks just for the ammo to compete in all the events.

You can convert the AR but not legally. My bro was hunting coons in his deer stand which does sound a little odd.
Here is a photo of the aftermath from this years hunting. Riley did tie our hunting deer record this year by taking down six deers.
